National Suicide Prevention Week

National Suicide Prevention Week

We can all help prevent suicide. Every year, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and other mental health organizations and individuals across the U.S. and around the world raise awareness of suicide prevention during September, National Suicide Prevention Month. On Friday, September 17th the Columbiana County Suicide Prevention Coalition will host a suicide prevention awareness walk around the Dickey Drive Circle in Lisbon starting at 11:30am. Community organizations and agencies will be on hand to distribute resources and proclamations will be read by Lisbon Mayor Peter Wilson and Columbiana County commissioners.

WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT RETRAT REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

It's a GREAT day when a vision becomes reality!!! 🎉 The Women's Empowerment Retreat registration opens TODAY! Our women in Columbiana County are in crisis and we're here to help empower them! This is for the woman who was abused (physically, mentally & emotionally), this is for the one who doesn't believe she has anything to offer, this is for the one who has contemplated suicide, the one who has lost a child, the one who is having a difficult time navigating life, the one who silently suffers with depression and cries herself to sleep at night, the one who is on the edge of having a break down, it's for all the women who have been used and discarded leaving feelings of emptiness and loneliness, the ones who are carrying past trauma and for all the women in between. This event is designed to EQUIP and EMPOWER ALL. OF. YOU. TO STEP INTO YOUR POWER!!! We will provide information, offer support and connect you with resources to help you live your best life.
